Year Prep: Werribee Open Range Zoo Excursion

Location: Werribee Open Range Zoo

As part of our Inquiry unit on living things and their environment, the children in Prep will be attending an excursion to Werribee Open Range Zoo. The children will participate in the Habitat Heroes education program and explore the Zoo on an African Safari bus ride. The aim of  this excursion is to broaden students’ understanding of the habitats of various living things and examine what is needed for their survival.

MODE OF TRANSPORT: Bus
COST: On this occasion the cost is covered by the Excursion Levy
UNIFORM: SPORTS UNIFORM
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Lunch (disposable wrapping), snacks and disposable drink bottle in a small plastic bag clearly labelled with their name.

Due to the unpredictability of Melbourne’s weather, it is recommended your child brings with them a raincoat or rain poncho.
