The Year 3 students will be participating in a ‘Cultural Celebration Day’ which includes a shared lunch.
On this day, we ask students to come dressed in clothes that reflect their cultural background or the colours of the flag from their cultural background.
Throughout the day, students will be involved in a cooking activity, sharing of ‘News Reports’ and sharing of ‘gifts & talents’.
Students will be involved in making one of the following:
- Muffin pizzas with tomato paste, cheese and a variety of vegetables.
- Fruit Sticks.
- Mini Pavlovas
Extra lunch items to be provided by the school:
- Vegetarian Sushi rolls – mini ones
- Dumplings (chicken)
- Vegemite on bread
- Fairy bread
