Year 5-6: Immersion Program – Tile Art

The Immersion Program is a 5 day program where the students will participate in a chosen program which will work on skilling up students in the use of a particular technology and/or computer program. All programs have been designed for students to work collaboratively with others.

Your child has selected to take part in the ‘Tile Art’ program. Students will explore the environment around them and the patterns that lie within. Following the path from Federation Square and along Birrarung Marr, students will sketch some of the patterns they see.

Departure from school at 8.45am Sharp, Return to School 3pm

There will be no cost for this excursion

Sports uniform and hats
Lunch:
Student will be required to bring their lunch, snacks and drink bottle in a small bag/backpack.

We would very much appreciate the assistance of some parents on the day so that we can keep our groups to a workable size. If you would like to help and have a valid “Working with Children Check” certification, which has been registered in CareMonkey, and have been through the St Peter’s Volunteer Interview process, please indicate accordingly below and your child’s teacher will contact you.  Due to the responsibility involved in supervising a group of children, you will not be able to bring along pre-schoolers. Also note that all parents assisting with this excursion will be required to attend a compulsory briefing session on, Friday 26th April in 6C at 8.30am.
