The school enrolment grew quickly in the early years and peaked at 733 students in 1985. Over recent years, the average enrolment has been 600 students and the present enrolment is 546.

St Peter’s has a diverse, multi-cultural (29 ethnic cultures) school community.

The school buildings presently comprise of six brick complexes, including:

  • St. Mary MacKillop Building

In total, there are twenty-three classrooms, most with three grades in each level. We also have a Chapel, Performing Arts Theatre, Wellbeing Hub, Art room and Italian room

Our school is constantly working towards improving infrastructure so as to provide optimum learning spaces for students. We are currently developing more flexible indoor/outdoor spaces that allow for student autonomy and team collaboration.

Our outdoor play areas include an oval with synthetic grass and athletics track, flexi-paved all weather area, a Junior and Senior Adventure Playground, two Basketball courts, a quiet reflective area and our recently developed sensory garden.

The Parish manages the Outside School Hours Care program which caters for one hundred children on some evenings.

St Peter’s also operates an independent canteen facility, managed by the St Peter’s Ladies Auxiliary.
