Dear Parents,
This year BOOK WEEK will be celebrated at St. Peter’s from the 29th August to the 2nd September.
The Book Week Theme for this year is ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open.’
There will be many interesting things happening throughout the week to celebrate this event.
The Book Fair will run from Tuesday 30th August to Friday 2nd Sept.
It will be located in the school library and will be open before and after school for students to attend. This is an opportunity for students to purchase books or other items ranging in price from $1.00 and up.
On Tuesday the 30th of August, all students will attend a performance by Tony Bones Entertainment.
This show is based on the book ‘The Imagineer’ and includes student participation, music and drama. Students will also engage in book rotations where they will participate in some fun activities based around the Australian Book Council shortlisted books of 2022.
On Thursday the 1st of September, all students are invited to wear their pyjamas to school to fit in with the theme ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open. Students will need to remember to provide sensible footwear that suits outside play.
On the same day, we will be having a special lunch where students may order from the canteen. There will be an order form sent home. The Canteen will have 3 set lunch order menus for the day which will need to be pre ordered and paid for by
This is not a free lunch day and it is optional for those who would like to take part.
We are looking forward to a fun-filled week
