DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER CROSS COUNTRY HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND
RESCHEDULED TO MONDAY 13TH MAY
Your child has been selected to represent St Peter’s in the Hoppers Crossing District Cross Country Carnival. This event will be held at Heathdale Christian College on Friday 10th May.
The team will be walking to Heathdale Christian College. We will depart from St Peter’s at 10:45am and we will leave Heathdale Christian College at 2:30 after the presentations.
The distances to be run are as follows:
10 yrs boys and girls- 2km
11 yrs boys and girls- 3km
12/13 yrs boys and girls- 3km
Children will need to wear their full sport uniform, runners (not ‘skating’ shoes) and their hats.
They will be provided with a St Peters district uniform- singlet and shorts- and will wear these on the day so please make sure your child is wearing suitable attire underneath. Please note that to uniform IS NOT for them to keep. It must be returned to the school before the end of the day.
Children will need to bring a refillable drink bottle and their lunch. Children with asthma or any other medical conditions, must also bring their puffers and medication.
We require 2 parent helpers, who have been through the St Peter’s Volunteer Interview Process and have a valid Working with Children Check certificate, to walk with us and to act as course attendants. If you able to assist me on the day, please indicate accordingly below.
We ask that permission is completed via CareMonkey by Friday 4th May.
