As part of the school curriculum, it has now been established for the year six students to attend a camp. This year’s camp is to Ace-Hi Ranch in Cape Schanck where students will experience various team roles and reflect on their emotional responses and performance when working in groups. This experience aligns with Level 6 Personal and Social Capabilities from The Victorian Curriculum and aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of the characteristics of respectful relationships. Camp is compulsory for all students.

The details are as follows:

Depart: Wednesday 29th May

approx. 9.00am

Return: Friday 31st May

approx. 3.00pm-3.30pm

Cost: $250.00 per person

Ace-Hi Ranch offers students the opportunity to participate in flying fox, rock wall climbing, camp cooking and a horse awareness activity during their camp experience. In addition to these activities your child is able to participate in a horse trail ride for an additional fee of $50 per student. This is not compulsory and only students with additional permission and confirmed payment will partake in the trail ride.

The purpose of this letter is to provide the dates and an approximate expense of camp. We are aware that this amount is a sizeable cost when added to the normal budget, so to assist with this the following payment instalment plan is recommended.
